While Oxygenetix topicals were originally designed to be used after cosmetic procedures, our quickly growing fan base wears it as a safe alternative to everyday makeup.
The idea for Oxygenetix was born when Barry’s mother had a chemical peel procedure. When his daughters saw their grandmother soon after her procedure, they were frightened by her appearance and could barely look at her! This inspired Barry to start pondering the idea of post-aesthetic cosmetics. He wanted to formulate a product that could minimize post-procedure downtime for compromised skin.
Barry Knapp partnered with Kort Pearson in 2008 to create the breathable makeup revolution. With decades of combined experience in cosmetics and the medical space, Barry and Kort teamed up with doctors and dermatologists to formulate an oxygen-permeable, protective foundation to minimize patients’ scarring, discomfort, and social downtime following procedures.
Hollywood makeup artists quickly discovered that one application of the foundation could last all day and night, even when shooting under harsh studio lights.
